
“Moutai” series of beer is the result of continual development, research and innovation of our Corporation on the basis of the development strategy of “Predominance of one product and development of diversified products” of Moutai (Group), and is also reproduction of the austere, scientific and fault-finding quality spirit of Moutai (Group) Corporation in the field of beer, as well as the outcome of the combination of traditional technique with modern scientific brewing technology. “Moutai” beer is made of fine Australian malt and fine imported flor extract, good-quality sticky rice and the spring of remote mountain with karst relief through unique recipe and brewing technique. The beer looks clear and transparent, yellowish in color, pure and tasty, soft, and the flor has prominent fragrance, the foam is white and delicate, and is favored by consumers. It is designated as product for Dalian International Costume Festival in 2000; in 2001,it was selected by Association of Kweichow Consumers as recommended commodities; in the national beer appraisal organized by the Association of China Brewing Industry in Nov. 2001, Moutai Beer won the title of “China Fine-Quality New Beer”; in Feb. 2003, Moutai beer was conferred the title of “National Quality Inspection Qualification¡ªNational Quality Trustworthy Food” by Association of China Food Industry; in the 5 th National Beer Appraisal organized by Association of China Food Industry and Beer Committee of Association of China Food Industry in Oct. 2003, “Feitian” and “Five Star” Moutai Beer turned out No.1 in total score through the appraisal of national-level appraisers and the inspection of national authoritative inspection institutions, and were conferred “China Beer Famous Innovative Product” and “China Beer Outstanding Innovative Product” respectively.
